You will receive your MT4 password when you first open your trading account. For security reasons, we recommend that you change your password when you first access your account. You may also lose or forget your password, so you’ll need to reset it.
To change your password in the platform, select the Tools – Options – Server tab and click the “Change” button.
Enter your current password and make sure to tick “Change Master Password”.
Enter your new password, making sure it’s at least five characters long and a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters and numbers. Confirm your password in the second box and select OK. If no error message appears, the change succeeded.
If you forget or lose your password, you can reset it from a secure workspace. Log in and select “Change Trading Account Password”. Enter and confirm the new password, and then select Save. You will also receive an email confirming the success of the change.
